3 days 2 nights desert trip from Marrakech to Merzouga
Day 1: Marrakech to Dades Valley over the High Atlas Mountains and Ouarzazate Pick up at 8 a.m. from Marrakech, and drive south through the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’ Tichka mountain pass and local Berber villages to Ouarzazate. You will reach and visit the exotic Kasbah of Aït Benhaddou. After lunch, your journey will continue to Rose Valley via Ouarzazate and through Skoura Oasis and the Kasbah Amerhidil, located in Skoura River. Overnight in the Dades Valley.
Day 2: Dades Valley to Erg Chebbi desert via Todra Gorges and Erfoud Breakfast in the hotel. Your journey continues to Dades Gorges for spectacular views and a walk. You will drive back through Dades Valley to Todra Gorges via Boulman Dades, on the way you will stop for photos along Tinghir palm tree grove valley before you reach Todra Gorge, where you will have your free time to walk on your own along the Todra River. After a mint tea, you will drive to Merzouga desert passing by the Anti Atlas and Tafilalet Oasis to reach Erg Chebbi sand dunes for a camel trek and overnight in the middle of the dunes. Enjoy the sunset in the top of the dunes and a local dinner and a drum party in a traditional Nomadic bivouac camp.
Day 3: Erg Chebbi to Marrakech Early morning wake-up to a spectacular sunrise in the desert, and then enjoy a mint tea before you return back by camel to the Kasbah hotel where you will have breakfast and shower. Then continue to Marrakech over the High Atlas Mountains and the local villages. Arrival at Marrakech early evening.

We will start our adventure to the amazing rocky desert with a hotel pickup from Marrakech at 3:00 PM. Ride in comfort with a professional, kind, and bilingual driver in an air-conditioned car. Drive outside of the city towards Agafay. Take in views of the surrounding olive groves and orange and lemon trees before reaching the gateway to simple and beautiful, Berber nature.
In the late afternoon, embark on a sunset camel ride. Like in the "Lawrence of Arabia," travel to another era as you admire the earth’s unspoiled beauty. Arrive at your destination at the Agafay Camp, where friendly staff will be waiting to warmly welcome you in Moroccan style. Enjoy a delightful dinner with your friends or family in the desert. Settle in for the night in comfortable and tastefully-designed bivouacs below a bewitching sky.
Wake up for a leisurely morning in the desert. Enjoy the sunrise and a typical breakfast at the camp. Start on the road back to Marrakech via lake Takerkoust at around 11:00 AM and enjoy completely different views than on the way. Take in vistas of the High Atlas Mountains. A buggy or quad biking experience is optional feel free to ask your driver / Guide. Also if you would like to have lunch at one of the restaurants by the lack it's also possible.
Ourika Valley
Escape Marrakech to the Atlas mountains to see stunning landscapes and some of the most beautiful rivers, mountains and waterfalls in Morocco. On this tour you will enjoy a guided hike with the opportunity to swim under a waterfall. Along the journey you will a learn about the culture in this region with a stop at one of the Berber villages, where you can try some traditional Moroccan mint tea.
Depart from Marrakech at 11am for Ourika Valley. On arrival you will walk for about 30 minutes to see five water falls. You will stop for a break and enjoy a drink in a cafe with a spectacular panoramic view. After that you have the option to continue hiking to more waterfalls and enjoy a swim in one of them or go down for lunch at one of the local restaurants by a riverside.
Departure to Marrakech around 4pm. On the way back you will stop at the Herbal House or the Berber House to drink some Moroccan mint tea.
Ancient Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou
Enjoy an adventure across the high Atlas Mountains to the ancient city of Ait Ben Haddou on this guided, full-day trip from Marrakech. Discovering this amazing fortified village built from adobe, stones, you will enjoy a scenic walk with your professional guide. Watch different views, get spectacular landscapes as far as the eye can see, and admire an incredible contrast between colors. Eating around this breathtaking scenery will be enjoyable as well.
Ouzoud Waterfalls
Admire one of Morocco’s natural wonders on a day trip to the Ouzoud Falls from Marrakech. Travel into the Atlas Mountains by 4x4 or minivan, and witness the stunning, 360-foot (110-meter) waterfalls as they plunge down rugged cliffs. Take photos from various viewpoints, and, if you wish, visit the caves that house watermills powered by the falls. Watch for local Barbary apes or rainbows above the cascades, and savor lunch at a restaurant along the shaded waterfall path. You could almost forget you're in the middle of the desert once you see these stunning waterfalls! It's a bit of a trek from top to bottom but a great way to fully experience this wonderful oasis.
